Land Based Program
“Retracing Our Footsteps”

Native Horizons Treatment Centre is proud to introduce the "Tsitewahkeht" Land Based Program, dedicated to providing cultural and traditional programming for our First Nations and surrounding communities. Tsitewahkeht translates to "retracing our footsteps" and aims to reconnect participants with their heritage and the natural world through knowledge-sharing, teaching, learning, and traditional practices in natural settings.
More than cultural knowledge, the initiative equips participants with essential life skills for personal growth and community development. Programs integrate traditional practices with modern skills for comprehensive learning that honours cultural heritage while addressing contemporary challenges.
