Board of Directors
Governed by, and accountable to, our communities
Native Horizons is owned and guided by a Board of Directors representing six First Nation communities — community-appointed leaders with a deep awareness of addictions and recovery.
Community-appointed
First Nation communities submit a Band Council Resolution (BCR) to appoint a representative — and may appoint anyone they deem appropriate to represent their interests.
Role models in recovery
Representatives are role models in their communities with a background and awareness of addictions in Native communities.
Meets quarterly
The Board of Directors meets quarterly, or more frequently as the Board determines, to guide the Centre's direction.
Our Directors
Representing six First Nation communities
